Brown: Banks should be ‘servants’
Gordon Brown has called for a more responsible banking system, in which banks are the “servants of the economy and society and never its master”… If you look at my previous comments and conversation… It’s been exactly what I’ve been saying for a long time now. Banks are too powerful in our economy. Gordon seem to start understanding it better. What he doesn’t know yet is that the banks are already more powerful than the government itself!
