Story that keeps on repeating: media call the shots now by announcing winners and losers in the technology world. Winners and losers are being picked up by the rate their build media news footage, not by the rate they build their balance sheets.
… In other words: media will love you and put you on a pedestal if you continue to come back to them with news worthy stories, instead of looking at the facts and figures: the balance sheets. Why this is the case?
… Because balance sheets don’t sell news, so there’s a penalty for companies not producing enough of media content. The penalty is delivered in a form of speculations and prognosis of demise.
