500 Days of Summer

I’m really impressed with 500 Days of Summer. I couldn’t agree more with the people putting forward that there’s no such thing as fate. Fate, if anything, is just an extremely arogant way people mistranslating to themselves rights of large numbers as a right where only “me counts”. There’s no fate and you better learn maths as well as watch the movie!

That assumption is actually predominant in how in perspective through which I see most, if not all, things. However one thing I was never able to figure out myself, or at least prove either way, is – whichever matters more: doing lots of things the right way or doing fewer things with greater attention to detail. Again, there’s no golden middle, I don’t think, and maths would suggest the correct solution, but it’s just not feasible, or is it?
