Quick scan through the notes
I had a quick scan through my notes going back to 2001, where I highlighted some companies, got knows for what reason exactly. It’s interesting only because it turns out that out of a number of back then respectable companies only less than a half made it to this time (under the same domain name) and another substantial number changed their business sector or modified it beyond how they originally wanted to be portrayed. Turns out some of the retrospective activities can yield some interesting results. I could possibly give you hundreds of examples, but the most staggering example I could come across tonight was the raise and demise of polbox… I can only wait to see wp.pl sharing its destiny in the next decade.
